Paul C. McKee
I am a Cognitive Neuroscience Ph.D. and Executive MBA Candidate with a Master's in Interdisciplinary Data Science (MIDS) at Duke University.

Through both philosophical and empirical lenses, my research explores the neural mechanisms underlying moral judgments and decision-making, social decision-making, implicit bias, motivation, and other higher cognitive functions. I leverage behavioral tasks, neuroimaging, and causal and computational modeling to investigate these areas. My work is supported by the National Science Foundation (NSF GRFP). I hold Visiting Researcher affiliations with Stanford and Yale. Additionally, I am an Adjunct Professor at my alma mater, Southern Connecticut State University, in the Departments of Psychology, Philosophy, and Computer Science.
Prior to coming to Duke, I served from 2013 – 2018 as a Marine Corps Machine Gunner before receiving a B.S. in Psychology from Southern Connecticut State University in 2021.
